 02/26/2007 Follow-Up to the Illinois Auction Workshops
On December 20, 2006, the Illinois Commerce Commission initiated a proceeding (Docket No. 06-0800) to review the Illinois Auction process and to determine whether any changes should be implemented prior to the next auction scheduled to take place in January 2008. Two workshops were held on February 2, 2007 and February 15, 2007 in which the parties discussed potential improvements to the Illinois Auction process.
As part of these workshops, the Ameren Illinois Utilities as well as other parties have recommended changes to the BGS-FP Supplier Forward Contract. The Ameren Illinois Utilities will host a conference call to discuss their current draft of the BGS-FP Supplier Forward Contract, which includes specific language to incorporate the changes recommended during the recently held workshops.
